Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Belstaff Special Edition Revealed

Royal Enfield has silently revealed a new special edition Continental GT 650 motorcycle by partnering with Belstaff. The renowned British riding apparel company recently joined hands with Royal Enfield. The brand’s will together produce exclusive apparel for motorcycle enthusiasts. Celebrating Royal Enfield’s 120th anniversary, Belstaff created heritage-inspired t-shirts, zip-up sweatshirts, caps, enamel mugs, and two limited-edition jackets. Belstaff has been the go-to choice for motorcycle enthusiasts since 1924, as they deliver high-performance apparel and jackets.

Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Belstaff edition – Design 

The special edition Continental GT 650 Belstaff features a unique, black and white dual-tone colour scheme. The motorcycle gets custom knee recesses with knee pads and special fabric at its centre. In addition to this, the fabric present on the fuel tank of the Belstaff edition comes with special edition badges. However, the bike retains the rounded halogen headlight, a wide handlebar, and a twin-dial instrument cluster.

Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Belstaff edition – Technical Specs 

Powering the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a BS6 compliant, 648cc air/oil-cooled, 4-valve/cylinder parallel-twin engine. The motor features a SOHC valvetrain and twin throttle bodies with Bosch electronic fuel injection. This helps the engine produce 47 PS of power and 52 Nm of torque. The twin motor pairs with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper assist clutch. The motorcycle rides on 41mm conventional telescopic front forks with 110mm of suspension travel. On the rear, the bike gets piggyback, gas-charged, twin shock absorbers with 88mm of travel. Braking performance comes from a single 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. The bike gets 18-inch wheels, a 13.7-litre fuel tank, 804mm of seat height, and 174mm of ground clearance.
