Sales figures for the six heavyweights in the Indian two-wheeler market for February 2024 have been released and here’s how each manufacturer fared:

Hero MotoCorp: 4,45,257 units

Market leader Hero MotoCorp continues to defend its top spot and reported a 5.8 percent increase compared to its January sales figure of 4,20,934 units. Even when compared to its sales figure for February 2023 (3,82,317 units), it reported a 16.46 percent increase. We’ve ridden Hero’s flagship Mavrick 440 and you can read our review here.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI): 4,13,967 units

Retaining its second spot in the Indian two-wheeler market, HMSI reported an increase of 8.2 percent compared to its January 2024 numbers (3,82,512 units). In a similar vein, Honda India also bettered its admittedly low February 2023 numbers (2,27,064 units) by a whopping 82.31 percent.
