Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z gets more power, better brakes, priced at Rs 1.92 lakh
May 6, 2025

It has been a year since the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z was launched at a sensational Rs 1.85 lakh price tag and the company is now about to officially launch an updated version. For 2025, the NS400Z gains some significant mechanical upgrades as well as a reasonable price hike.
- Moves to Apollo Alpha tyres
- Price likely to rise above Rs 1.9 lakh
Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: what’s new?
Along with a wider rear tyre, Bajaj has also improved the NS400Z’s braking
Visually, the bike is identical, apart from the fact that it now has a fatter rear tyre. While the previous bike had a 140 section rear tyre, the 2025 model moves to a fatter 150 section rear which will improve its visual stance. Another improvement comes in the move from MRF Revz tyres to Apollo Alpha H1 radials.
Bajaj has also improved the braking system for 2025, While the Grimeca caliper is the same, the bike now uses sintered brake pads which should result in stronger bite. As for the engine, it has been upgraded to OBD-2b emission norms, however sources tell us that there is more excitement than that. We have been informed that the engine has also received a small power increase. The exact number is not yet known, but we expect this to be in the range of 2-3hp.
That would make the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z more powerful than the Bajaj Dominar and the Triumph Speed 400, second only to the KTM 390s in Bajaj’s entire line-up.
All these changes have brought about an increase in the price which is now likely to be Rs 1.92 lakh. Expect to see the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z officially launched in the next few days as the motorcycles have already reached the dealerships.
