Lamborghini Temerario India launch on April 30
April 4, 2025

The Lamborghini Temerario launch on April 30 is going to take place much earlier than the previously reported late 2025. The Temerario is the successor to the Lamborghini Huracan, and is powered by a plug-in hybrid system. Notably, Lamborghini took the wraps off the Huracan successor in August 2024, and its India launch comes in slightly over eight months.
- Gets a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 and three electric motors
- 3.8kWh plug-in hybrid battery can be charged via 7kW charger
- Three digital displays are mounted on the dashboard
Lamborghini Temerario powertrain
920hp, 800Nm combined output
The Temerario gets a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 mated to an an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and a trio of electric motors. Its V8 engine alone is good for 800hp and 730Nm, and has a maximum 10,000rpm redline. With the electric motors, the combined output rockets to 920hp and 800Nm. 0-100kph is achieved in 2.7 seconds and the top speed is 343kph.
3.8kWh plug-in hybrid battery
The three electric motors are powered by a small 3.8kWh battery, which can be charged to full capacity in 30 minutes using a 7kW AC charger. Additionally, it can also be charged via regenerative braking, or directly from the V8 itself.
Lamborghini Temerario exterior
Hexagon-shaped lights
Many design cues of the Lamborghini supercar, like the shark-nose front end and the lower-lip spoiler, are from previous Huracan models. However, Temerario’s roofline and side panels feature pronounced lines for aerodynamic efficiency, and the new headlights are slimmer and sit atop hexagon-shaped LED DRLs. Lamborghini has given the same hexagonal treatment to the tail lights, which even extends to centrally-mounted rear exhaust, side mirrors and fuel tank cap. For the 20-inch (front) and 21-inch (rear) wheels, Lamborghini will offer forged and carbon-fibre options.
All-aluminium spaceframe is lighter
With a new aluminium spaceframe, the Temerario offers increased torsional rigidity by 20 percent, compared to the Huracan’s carbon fibre and aluminium structure. The Italian manufacturer also has a track-focused Alleggerita package, which adds several carbon-fibre exterior parts to shave off 25kg from the 1,715kg dry weight.
Lamborghini Temerario interior features
Physical buttons on steering wheel
Temerario (top), Revuelto (bottom)
Inside, Temerario’s aircraft-themed cabin looks very similar to the Revuelto. In Lamborgini fashion, the centre console continues with the fighter jet-style push start/stop button. Physical buttons have been used on the steering instead of digital ones. Three displays – a 12.3-inch driver’s display, an 8.4-inch touchscreen (in portrait orientation) and a 9.1-inch passenger screen are mounted on the dashboard. The 18-way adjustable driver’s seat is both heated and ventilated.
Lamborghini Temerario price expectation
A slight cost bump over the Huracan is likely, translating into an ex-showroom price of around Rs 7 crore for the Lamborghini Temerario. Rivals to the Temerario are McLaren 750S and Ferrari 296GTB. Stay tuned to Autocar India for more updates and the Temerario review.
