Hyundai has pulled the covers off the Ioniq 6 facelift at Seoul Motor Show 2025. The refreshed EV is mechanically unchanged, but features a sleeker design and introduces a sportier N Line variant as a first for the Ioniq 6.

  1. Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift gets new front end design, alloy wheels, rear spoiler, etc.
  2. Interior features include redesigned steering wheel, larger climate control display, and more
  3. 77.4kWh and 53kWh battery packs; up to 321hp and all-wheel drive on offer

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift exterior design

The facelifted Ioniq 6 borrows inspiration from the Hyundai RN22e motorsport-inspired concept car. Up front, the most noticeable change on the Ioniq 6 facelift is the new slimmer headlight design, which has a pixel motif similar to that of the Ioniq 9 SUV. Additionally, the bumper has been revised, there’s a new front splitter to aid aerodynamics, and the bonnet is raised further.

Over to the side, the Ioniq 6 facelift gets redesigned alloy wheels and tweaked rearview cameras, as well as a black finish for the skirts. The rear bumper receives some chrome trim, and the prominent ducktail wing of the outgoing Ioniq 6 has been replaced by a more discreet extended boot lip.

Ioniq 6 N Line receives sportier design flourishes

The facelifted Ioniq 6 will also come in N Line form for the first time, wherein the EV gets sportier cosmetic elements. These include a more aggressive front bumper with N Line badging, bespoke alloy wheels, and additional blacked-out body panels. While the Ioniq 6 N Line remains mechanically identical to the standard model, it does preview a full-blown Ioniq 6 N that’s set to debut this summer.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift interior and features

Hyundai has made subtler changes to the Ioniq 6’s cabin compared to the exterior. The steering wheel now features a three-spoke design, the center console controls have been rearranged to improve usability, there’s a bigger display for the dual-zone climate control system, and the door trim has been upgraded with new materials.

Other notable features include a pair of 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and instruments, ambient lighting, vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, 8-way electronically adjustable front seats, and more. The extra screens at both ends of the dashboard display the outputs of the rearview cameras.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift battery and range specs

The Ioniq 6 facelift retains the 77.4kWh and 53kWh battery packs from the outgoing model. For the larger battery pack, two powertrain options are on offer: a single-motor rear-wheel drive set-up producing 225hp, and a dual-motor all-wheel drive configuration generating 321hp. The 53kWh battery pack, meanwhile, can only be had in single-motor guise with a 149hp output.

Range is yet to be revealed

Charging speeds are capped at 233kW, and range-wise, the previous Ioniq 6 could travel up to 614km on a single charge (77.4kWh version, WLTP figure), but Hyundai has yet to confirm the facelifted model’s range.

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift launch details

Hyundai has not announced an official launch window for the Ioniq 6 facelift, but it’s expected to go on sale in overseas markets over the coming months, with an India launch unconfirmed at the moment. Currently, Hyundai only sells one Ioniq model in India – the Ioniq 5 – but the Korean carmaker did debut the pre-facelift Ioniq 6 at Auto Expo 2023 to gauge consumer interest in the all-electric sedan.
