Tata Punch EV variant-wise features explained

In the run-up to the launch of the Tata Punch EV on January 17, the all-electric SUV’s brochure details have leaked online, giving us new info on the Citroen eC3 rival. The first Tata EV to be based on the brand’s Acti.ev platform, the Punch EV is expected to arrive with two battery packs – 25kWh and 35kWh – the larger unit is expected to have an MIDC range of around 400km.
Bookings for the Punch EV had opened on January 5, for an amount of Rs 21,000. The Punch EV will be offered in four variants – Smart, Adventure, Empowered and Empowered+. Interestingly, the Punch EV’s trims use a similar nomenclature as the Nexon EV, and these names are expected to be used on all future Tata electric vehicles.
